Professional Experience Details
Triton Systems
Contributed to Prism, an ATM application software package produced and sold by Triton Systems. Using Visual Basic .NET 3.5, developed new features and fixed bugs in versions 1.0 and 2.0 of Prism. Converted a Web-component module from Visual Basic 6 to C#. Using Windows Embedded Standard, created a custom operating system on which Prism was to run.
Responsibilities:
- Creating design specifications for the projects and bug fixes for which I was assigned.
- Coordinating development efforts with other staff members.
- Developing and delivering working code.
Epic Systems Corporation
Participated on the team that produced Epic's cardiology application. Epic develops its applications in a client-server fashion, with the server development in Cache, the database system built in MUMPS, and the client development in Visual Basic 6 and Epic's proprietary browser. Focused on three modules: a module for populating Epic's data into forms for submission to data registries; a module for documenting the findings of cardiac catheterization studies graphically, which included a component that was developed in C#; and the administrative interface for a tool for logging during a procedure.

Coushatta Casino Resort
Developed an application for tracking customer cash transactions so that the casino can comply with IRS regulations concerning large cash transactions. The application was developed as an Intranet application in ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, and SQL Server. Developed other applications, including a player logger for the casino's poker room, using the above languages.

- Complete applications development in all stages of the SDLC.
- Routine technical support and network administration in the position.
Affordable Consulting
Developed and managed multiple website projects, including Affordable's e-commerce solutions for local businesses. The websites used ASP, Visual Basic, and JavaScript for the web pages themselves and MS Access or SQL Server for data storage.

- Ongoing maintenance of those projects and others, including fixing bugs and making minor modifications as requested.
