Chocolate Pound Cake

3 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup Crisco
1 tsp vanilla
5 eggs
1 cup milk
3 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
- Cream butter, Crisco and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Add vanilla.
- Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa.
- Add alternately with milk.
- Pour into 10" tube pan.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
